Tamsyn, aka "Tam-Tam", "Tams" and "T-Dog", is our pick puppy from the Moonsetter O-Litter. Big on personality and natural ability, this girl decided early-on she wanted to be a bird dog - so when she was old enough, it was off to training camp! Her beautiful style, intense point, and natural retrieve made her a Gordon Setter favorite with her trainer.
With excellent bone, a solid square headpiece followed by a lovely neck and shoulders, and nice angles, this girl covers ground with beautiful, effortless, free-flowing movement. We expected her to do well when she hit the show ring - and she didn't disappoint!! Tamsyn came out strong by winning a 4 point major over a big specialty weekend, and went on to earn her second major over yet another specialty weekend! Just two weeks later, she completed her championship with two MORE back-to-back majors! Tamsyn never leaves the ring without several compliments on her gorgeous movement!! We couldn't be more proud of our Tam Tam. Tams also stays busy as Chuck's number one hunting companion in the off-season.
In 2021, Tamsyn had two major surgeries, the second being a toe amputation, putting her show career on hold just a few points shy of her Grand Championship. We didn't know if she'd ever show again, but a few months later decided to enter her in the North Country Gordon Setter Specialty, hoping to earn those last few points. She completely blew us away by not only winning Best in Veteran Sweeps, but also winning Best of Breed at the specialty from the veteran class. This once in a lifetime girl decided she wanted to end her show career with a bang!
Tamsyn is OFA Good, Elbows Normal, CAER (eyes) Normal, RCD4 Normal/Clear by parentage. She is also the dam of the Moonsetter Q, U, X, and Z Litters.
