Rowan, aka Ro, Ro-Ro, and Rowy, is the pick puppy from the Herbs & Spices litter. We fell in love with Rowan's sire, Ch. Blackjack Wallace Chedder, at a show in 2022, and his pedigree was equally impressive. His dam was imported from a very prominent kennel in Scotland, Yennadon Gordon Setters, which has produced exceptional dual-purpose Gordons. We knew Wally would be an excellent choice for our Waverly's first litter.
We chose Rowan for her sweet temperament and soft expression, strong topline, beautiful bone, and balanced angulation. We can't wait until she's old enough to hit the show ring and more! Watch for more of this girl in the summer of 2024.
At Rowan's first "official" show weekend, she earned Best of Opposite in Sweepstakes to her uncle Rake, and Reserve Winners Bitch to a major from the Bred-by puppy class. What a way to start her career!
