Aiden, aka “Big A”, "AD", "Dorkasaur" and “Runs With Scissors” is out of the “heaven and hell” themed Moonsetter "H" Litter. His arrival was a bit like a scene from 101 Dalmatians, but this feisty young man was not to be denied. With just two pups in his litter, Aiden the only boy, we found ourselves hoping and praying everything would fall into place and he'd be able to stay. We were indeed blessed with this puppy, although there are days his bigger-than-life attitude gives us cause to question the gift!
A bundle of Gordon boy energy, always full of comical antics, and a never-ending desire to fetch anything you're willing to throw for him. Because nothing Aiden does is ever done less than at full-throttle (and more often than not his eyes are covered by an over-sized toy in the process), we dubbed him "runs with scissors". All part of what makes him so lovable!
At just a year old, Aiden suffered a near-crippling torn ligament in his rear leg. Our vet wasn't sure he'd ever walk again, and the surgery and two months of being in and out of casts were stressful on everyone. We're encouraged to see him using his leg, and the limp becoming more subtle as time goes by.
Aiden is also the sire of the "Lunar" or Moonsetter "L" Litter and the "Q" Litter. He is OFA Excellent (hips), elbows normal, and RCD4 clear.
